Description: Testing thermistors for voltage and resistance to ensure proper operation.

Solution:

  • Power On Test:

    1. Measure DC voltage from ground to one side of the thermistor (5V DC expected).

    2. Measure return voltage from ground to the other side (below 5V DC).

    3. Use thermistor voltage graphs for temperature conversion.

  • Power Off Test:

    1. Unplug the thermistor.

    2. Measure resistance in kΩ and compare with reference values.

Tips: Use a reliable ground point, such as the black wire of a pressure transducer sensor.
