Overview
This document outlines factory-authorised password reset methods for Fujitsu General controllers, software tools, and gateways.
The procedures vary by product type and software version, and some require headquarters (HQ) involvement for secure reset authorization.
1. Touch Panel Controller – UTY-DTG***
Applies to: UTY-DTG series
Software version requirement: E013V05P00L01 or later
Local Reset Procedure
Touch [Setting] → [System Setting] → [Installer Setting].
Enter the master reset password:
?HENKOU97The controller will allow the existing password to be reset.
Remote Reset Procedure
If on-site reset is unavailable:
Insert a USB memory stick into the controller.
Navigate to [Setting] → [System Setting] → [Installer Setting].
Enter the factory code:
?SYUTURYOKU97The system automatically generates a folder named “remote” on the USB.
Zip and send the remote folder to HQ for processing.
HQ will return an authorized reset package to restore access.
2. Central Remote Controller – UTY-DCG**
Applies to: Central remote models
Software version requirement: E018V03P00L01 or later
Method 1 – Button Combination
On the password screen, press and hold [Cancel] + [Menu] for 5 seconds.
The password reset interface appears, allowing you to create a new password.
Method 2 – Master Password Reset
Input the universal reset code:
?19360115This resets the password back to the factory default:
0000.
3. Wired Remote Controller (Touch Type)
Models: UTY-RNR*Z*, UTY-RNRYT5, UTY-RNRT
Reset Procedure
On the password verification screen, hold [Cancel] + [Menu] for ≥ 2 seconds.
The controller prompts for a new password entry.
This method works for both management and installer passwords.
4. Wired Remote Controller – UTY-RVN**
Models: UTY-RVN series
Reset Procedure
On the password screen, press and hold [Password Display] for ≥ 5 seconds.
Navigate via Other Settings → Settings → Initial Setting → Change Installer Password.
A new password entry screen will appear.
5. KAGAMI Controller – UTY-RVRU
Hold [Cancel] and [Start/Stop] simultaneously for ≥ 5 seconds on the password verification screen.
You’ll be prompted to enter a new admin or installer password.
Either password type can pass admin-level verification.
6. System Controllers and Gateways
Products:
UTY-APGX** (System Controller)
UTY-ALGX** (System Controller Lite)
UTY-ABGX** (BACnet Gateway)
Reset Method
Obtain the “Password Eraser” Tool from Fujitsu HQ.
Follow the reset manual accompanying the tool.
Reset Flow (HQ-coordinated):
HQ sends the Password Eraser Tool.
Run the tool on the PC hosting the software.
Provide the Query Code generated by the tool to HQ.
HQ issues an Erase Code.
Enter the Erase Code in the tool to complete the reset.
⚠ Keep the tool open during this process — closing it invalidates the Query Code.
7. Service Tool – UTY-ASGXZ1
If password reset procedure fails:
Uninstall and reinstall the Service Tool software.
Navigate to:
Tools → Drop DB → DropVRFDB.batRun DropVRFDB.bat to clear stored credentials.
All online site data selection will also reset.
8. Mobile Technician App
Master Password:
yk33fk45During first-time setup or after reinstalling the app:
Complete new registration.
The Master Password will also be emailed upon registration.
Enter this password within the app to activate.
9. Software License Recovery
For PC-based tools (e.g., Service Tool or ASGXZ1 License Manager):
Press Ctrl + Alt + Refresh within the License Manager window under the “Move License” tab to regenerate the key.
Send the exported file to HQ for release key issuance (one-time per license).
10. TPC Software (UTY-PTGXA) Reactivation
Use case: When replacing a damaged TPC unit running the electricity charge apportionment software.
Provide the MAC address of the new TPC to HQ.
HQ will generate a special password tied to that MAC address.
Connect the existing WUK (license key) to the new TPC.
Enter the special password on the installer setting password verification screen.
The software license will automatically transfer to the new TPC.
Ensure the TPC runs the latest version (E045V03P00L02) to avoid activation errors.
