Production Overview
Two separate production batches of the RAQ/K/WP/EC 118 air handling units were manufactured with different supply fan brands:

Serial Number Identification
The first two digits of the serial number correspond to the manufacturing year.
Example:RAQ2209008 → “22” indicates 2022 → Ziehl-Abegg fan installed
RAQ2307011 → “23” indicates 2023 → EBM fan installed
This allows quick identification of fan type without visual inspection.

⚠ Important:
The ZA and EBM supply fans are not mechanically or electrically interchangeable.
Replacing a fan with a different brand will result in misalignment and controller mismatch.
Maintenance and Ordering Guidance
Always verify production year or serial number before ordering replacement fans.
Cross-check the part number with the relevant GINDA spare parts list:
GINDA-SP-08-22-064 → for 2022 (ZA fans)
GINDA-SP-09-23-024 → for 2023 (EBM fans)
Confirm mounting position and rotation direction before installation.
Do not mix fan brands within the same unit; maintain batch consistency for air balance and control calibration.
Summary

Use the serial number year code to determine which fan type applies.
Fans are not interchangeable due to differences in mechanical footprint and electrical configuration.
The first batch 17 units order comes with Ziehl Abegg supply fans meanwhile second batch 22 units order installed with EBM supply fans.
Hence, you can find out easily on what brand supply fan were installed in the unit by checking the serial number information. For example, RAQ2209008 as below, please refer to the first numbers from left, 22 its referring to (2022) the manufacturing year of the unit.
We produced the 1st batch 17 units order in 2022. So, all these units were installed with ZA fans.
The ZA supply fan part numbers always start with M017. Please refer to enclosed GINDA-SP-08-22-064 RAQ 118 spare part list which been shared with you in 2022.
The 2nd batch 22 units were produced in 2023 with EBM supply fans installed, please refer below on the circled year 23. So, by looking to the serial number you can guess the supply fans installed. if you want to purchase supply fan for these units, you should refer to Enclosed GINDA-SP-09-23-024 which been shared with you in august 2023. For your information, EBM supply fan part number usually starts with 000.16
