1. Preparation

Before beginning, ensure:

  • Your IR Blaster is powered on and within line-of-sight of the indoor AC unit.

  • You have a stable Wi-Fi connection (2.4 GHz network only).

  • The myanywAiR Next app is installed on your iPhone or Android device.

2. Connect the IR Blaster to Wi-Fi

  1. Open the myanywAiR Next app.

  2. Tap the “+” icon or “Add Device.”

  3. Choose “IR Blaster” from the device list.

  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to:

    • Confirm your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network name and password.

    • Put the IR Blaster into pairing mode (LED indicator flashes rapidly).

      • If not flashing, press and hold the reset/pairing button on the unit for ~5 seconds.

  5. Once pairing begins, the app will locate and connect to the device.

  6. Wait until confirmation of a successful connection appears.

3. Link the IR Blaster to Your Air Conditioner

  1. After Wi-Fi setup, select “Add Air Conditioner.”

  2. Choose the brand/model of your AC system.

  3. The app will send a test signal to confirm communication.

    • If the unit responds (beep / lights change), tap “Yes.”

    • If not, tap “No” and the app will cycle through alternate codes until successful.

  4. Once confirmed, save the configuration and assign a friendly name (e.g., “Living Room AC”).

4. Test & Configure

  • Use the app to adjust temperature, mode, and fan speed to ensure full functionality.

  • You can create schedules, zones, or integrate the device with smart-home assistants if supported.

5. Troubleshooting Tips

  • If setup fails, reset the IR Blaster (press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds).

  • Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4 GHz network during pairing.

  • Check that the IR Blaster LED faces the AC unit directly, without obstruction.
