Compatibility guide for General Wi-Fi adaptors and ducted control platforms
General offers several Wi-Fi control options across different models and control platforms. Compatibility with third-party smart home systems varies depending on the Wi-Fi device, the app used and the mobile operating system.

Important: UTY-ANY1 and UTY-ANY2 are different products. UTY-ANY1 does not support third-party voice assistants. UTY-ANY2 supports Google Home only and does not support Alexa or Siri.
5. Setup and operating notes
- UTY-FGAN1 and IS-IR-WIFI-FG use the myanywAiR app and can be linked to compatible third-party smart home services.
- UTY-ANY1 uses the anywAiR technology app and does not support Google Home, Alexa or Siri.
- UTY-ANY2 supports Google Home only. Alexa and Siri are not supported.
- Siri functionality is available on iOS devices only and may operate through Apple Shortcuts rather than direct HomeKit integration.
- Voice assistant setup is completed through the relevant Google Home, Amazon Alexa or Apple Shortcuts application.
- During initial setup, ensure the mobile device and the air conditioner or Wi-Fi adaptor are connected to the required Wi-Fi network.
- Available voice commands may be limited to basic functions such as on/off, operating mode and temperature adjustment.
Compatibility can change: Third-party app features and integrations may be updated by the platform provider. Confirm current availability in the relevant app store and voice assistant application before advising a customer.
