Wall-Mounted Split Installation Guide

For approved AOTG09KMCB / AOTG12KMCB R32 outdoor units
R32 flammable refrigerant: Installation, pressure testing, evacuation and service work must be completed by qualified personnel using R32/R410A-rated equipment. Remove ignition sources, ventilate the work area and use an R32-compatible leak detector.
KMCB highlights: Built-in WLAN, six indoor piping directions, dry-nitrogen pressure test at 4.15 MPa, vacuum target of 65 Pa / 500 microns and a revised wireless remote-controller test-run process.

Short pipework: Pipe runs shorter than 3 m may transfer outdoor-unit sound to the indoor unit and increase perceived operating noise.

Built-in WLAN: Record or retain the WLAN label located inside the front panel beside the WLAN indicator. Keep the label with the WLAN setting manual for customer handover.
Human sensor: Approximate detection range is 7 m, 90° vertically and 100° horizontally. Keep heaters and large objects outside the detection area.
Six piping directions

| 1 | Choose a strong, level wall with unrestricted airflow, suitable drainage and adequate WLAN reception. |
| 2 | Secure the wall-hook bracket level using at least five large fixing screws. |
| 3 | Cut a 65 mm wall hole with the outside edge 5–10 mm lower than the inside edge. |
| 4 | Fit a wall pipe and wall cap to prevent wiring contacting raw metal. |
| 5 | For left-side routes, transfer the drain hose and drain cap and refit the retaining screw. |
| 6 | Keep the drain hose below the refrigerant pipes and maintain continuous fall. |
| 7 | Engage the upper hooks first, then push the lower fittings onto both lower hooks. |
Drainage: Do not lift the drain hose, create waves or submerge its end. Apply freeze protection where the hose may be exposed below 0°C.

- Mount on a strong, level stand and keep tilt below 5°.
- Secure against strong wind.
- Do not install directly on the ground.
- Keep at least three horizontal directions open where possible.
- Do not use drain pipes or caps where freezing may block drainage.
4. Flare connections

Use R32/R410A-compatible flare tools. Maintain a bend radius of at least 70 mm and do not bend the same section more than three times.
5. Pressure test
Dry nitrogen only. Never use refrigerant, oxygen, compressed air or flammable gas to pressure-test the system.

| 3 | Pressurise to 4.15 MPa. |

| 5 | Confirm the pressure does not decrease. |
6. Vacuum and drying process
| 1 | Connect a clean R32/R410A manifold and vacuum pump. |
| 2 | Evacuate to -0.1 MPa or 65 Pa / 500 microns. |
| 3 | Continue vacuum operation for at least 15 minutes. |
| 4 | Close the manifold, stop the pump and stand for 1–2 minutes. Confirm the gauge does not rise. |
| 5 | Crack the 3-way valve until pressure reaches approximately 0.1–0.2 MPa, then disconnect the hose. |
| 6 | Fully open both service valves and tighten all caps. |

7. Electrical wiring
Match terminals 1, 2 and 3 between indoor and outdoor units and connect protective earth. Clamp cables by the outer sheath.

Keep demand-control wiring separated from the power and interconnection cables to prevent electrical interference.
8. Test run and commissioning
Wireless remote controller
- Connect power and wait at least one minute.
- Press START/STOP.
- Press the recessed TEST RUN button using a ballpoint pen or similar object.
- Press START/STOP to end the test.
Indoor-unit button
Hold MANUAL AUTO for more than 10 seconds. The OPERATION and TIMER lamps flash together. Stop the test using START/STOP on the remote controller.

Final handover: Leave the installation, operating and WLAN setting manuals with the customer. Record any changed settings and confirm app setup requirements.
