Overview
It has been identified that, in some cases, the factory-supplied wire harness included with UTY-CDPXZC and UTY-CDPXZD Zone Modules may have incorrect polarity when connecting to CN6 on the zone module’s main PCB.
This article outlines how to identify the incorrect harness and ensure the correct wiring connection is made.

2. Issue Description
During installation, some units have been supplied with a reversed-polarity wire harness for the CN6 connector.
If connected incorrectly, this can cause communication errors or failure of the zone control function.

3. Correct Connection Reference
Ensure the harness with a green identification dot is used when connecting to CN6.
If only the blue-dot harness is available, do not install — contact Fujitsu General Technical Support for a replacement.
The CN6 connector is located on the lower right section of the Zone Module PCB.
4. Symptoms of Incorrect Harness Installation
If the incorrect (blue dot) harness is connected:
The zone controller will not operate correctly.
Communication fault codes may be displayed.
The LED indicators on the module may not illuminate or blink as expected.
5. Corrective Action
Inspect the harness supplied with the Zone Module before installation.
Confirm the colour dot marking on the harness plug:
Use only the Green Dot harness.
Discard or return any Blue Dot harnesses.
Reconnect the correct harness to CN6 on the Zone Module PCB.
Power cycle the unit and confirm communication and zone operation.
The correct combination is;
Pin 1 = Red
Pin 2 = White
Pin 3 = Black
Pin 4 = NA
Pin 5 = NA
