Function Settings of the Remote Controller

Perform the following steps within 3 minutes after turning on the power:
Access the “Service” Screen
Enter the Service menu on the remote controller display.
Example screen path:
Enter the Function Setting Mode
Simultaneously press and hold the following buttons for 5 seconds:
[Screen switch button (left)]
[Enter button]
[Cursor button (downward)]
Note: The command may not register if buttons are pressed too firmly.
Open the “R.C. Function Setting” Screen
From the function setting menu, select:
Operation Mode Exemption (Mode Prohibition)
This setting allows you to remove specific operation modes (such as Cool, Dry, Fan, Heat, or Auto) from the remote controller’s menu.
Important: This does not disable the mode at the indoor unit level—it only hides or restricts it from the controller’s options.
Steps:
Navigate to Operation mode exemption.
Select the modes you want to prohibit.
Press OK to confirm.
Notes:
Dual Remote Control Systems:
When two controllers are used, ensure both the primary and secondary units have identical settings. Changes made only on the primary unit will not automatically reflect on the secondary. After Setting:
Always test the system in a non-exempted mode to confirm the operation.
Since the indoor unit memorizes the last operating mode, overwriting the memory operation mode is unnecessary after the change.
