VII and VIII Test Run, Error Reset and Central Controller Release
Purpose: Use the outdoor unit PCB push-button switches to start a cooling or heating test run, stop a test run, reset errors, or release a central control forced-reset condition.
Outdoor PCB controls

Important: The procedure is performed at the outdoor unit printed circuit board. Only suitably qualified service personnel should access or operate controls inside the electrical enclosure.
Entering Function Mode
- From the normal monitoring condition, press MODE / EXIT (SW107) to enter the mode-select condition.
- Press SELECT (SW108) until the 7-segment display shows F3 for Function mode.
- Press ENTER (SW109) to enter the function-select condition.
Navigation summary:

Function selections

Completing the command
- Use SELECT (SW108) to choose the required function number.
- Hold ENTER (SW109) for at least 3 seconds.
- The display indicates that the command has been carried out. Press ENTER (SW109) again, or wait approximately 5 seconds, to return to the mode-select condition.
- Press MODE / EXIT (SW107) to return to the normal monitoring condition.
Quick procedure
Normal indication: After returning to the monitoring condition, the display returns to the normal operating/monitoring indication. The example shown in the source material is cooling mode.
