Bacnet Hardware Configuration UTY-VBGX VRF
Hi Guys!
Regarding VRF Bacnet hardware configuration.
In some cases, depending on the laptop being used to run the configuration tool, an error may occur resulting in inability to connect to the hardware.
This is due to the USB driver not being installed.
Note* The configuration tool does not come with the USB driver as it relies on Windows to already have it installed.
We have had 3 cases so far where the driver was not installed.
Error: Port does not exist, please check the selected com port.
In some cases, if internet access available the laptop may try to source a suitable driver online.
As a work around, I have downloaded & added a suitable USB driver to allow correct operation of your configuration tool
P:\Sales\AC Product Library\VRF\VRF Software\BACnet_Gateway_Configuration_Tool_Installer_1_0_0_5 (1)
It may be best to copy the entire contents of the link above & add to your local drive for installation.
If you need the USB driver, it can be found here however as mentioned if you copy & save the link above, the driver will come across.
