J-II S Outdoor Unit Wiring Diagram
AJT040LCLAH / AJT045LCLAH / AJT054LCLAH
Outdoor unit electrical wiring, PCB connector and component reference
This reference converts the J-II S outdoor-unit wiring diagram into a searchable connector and component guide. The source drawing contains a combined diagram for AJT040LCLAH / AJT045LCLAH and a separate diagram for AJT054LCLAH.
Electrical safety: This equipment contains 230 V AC mains supply and high-voltage inverter circuitry. Isolate power, verify de-energisation and allow the DC bus to discharge before accessing electrical components. Electrical testing must be completed by suitably qualified personnel.
1. Applicable models
| Model | Source diagram |
|---|---|
| AJT040LCLAH | Shared diagram with AJT045LCLAH |
| AJT045LCLAH | Shared diagram with AJT040LCLAH |
| AJT054LCLAH | Separate diagram shown in source |
2. Power and inverter circuit
The source diagram identifies the outdoor-unit supply as 230 V ~ 50 Hz. The main power path includes the terminal block, fuse, noise-filter board, reactor, inverter board, active filter module, choke coil and compressor motor.
| Component | Diagram reference | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Power supply terminal | L / N / Earth | 230 V ~ 50 Hz supply |
| Fuse | F502 | 5 A / 250 V |
| Noise filter board | NOISE FILTER BOARD | Located between incoming supply and downstream power circuitry |
| Reactor | CN139 | Connected into the power-conditioning circuit |
| Inverter board | INVERTER BOARD | Drives the compressor motor |
| Compressor | TM403 / TM404 / TM405 | Red / White / Black motor leads shown on source diagram |
| Active power module | ACTIVE POWER MODULE | Connected between inverter/control power circuitry and choke coil |
| Choke coil | CHOKE COIL | L1 / L2 white leads shown |
| Transformer board | TRANS BOARD E01 | Associated with the control-board supply circuit |
3. Main PCB connector reference

4. Thermistor and sensor identification
| Sensor | Function shown on diagram | Connector / colour reference |
|---|---|---|
| TH1 | Discharge temperature thermistor | CN141 / Blue marking reference |
| TH10 | Compressor shell thermistor | CN141 |
| TH4 | Suction temperature thermistor | CN143 / Red marking reference |
| TH5 | Heat-exchanger exit thermistor | CN143 / Pink marking reference |
| TH3 | Outdoor temperature thermistor | CN144 / marked tube reference |
Identification note: The source diagram also provides wire colours and tube-marking references to distinguish thermistors. Confirm both the connector number and the physical sensor location before substituting or testing a thermistor.
5. Using the wiring diagram for service
| 1 | Confirm the exact outdoor model. AJT040LCLAH and AJT045LCLAH share one drawing; AJT054LCLAH has its own drawing. |
| 2 | Identify the device first. Locate the component on the wiring diagram and then follow its wiring back to the connector number. |
| 3 | Verify wire colour and connector position. Do not rely on wire colour alone where multiple black or white leads are shown. |
| 4 | Trace the complete circuit. For inverter or supply faults, include the terminal, fuse, noise filter, reactor, inverter board, active power module and associated connections in the inspection. |
| 5 | Use model-specific service data for electrical values. This wiring diagram identifies connections and components; it does not provide test voltages, resistance limits or fault-code thresholds. |
