AIRSTAGE V-II Series VRF

System introduction and compatible indoor-unit lineup
Approximate product era: early to mid-2010s
The AIRSTAGE V-II Series is a large-capacity R410A VRF platform developed as the successor to the original V Series. It was designed for multi-storey offices, hotels, education, healthcare, retail and other large commercial applications requiring extensive zoning and centralised control.
Naming caution: “V-II” may be written informally as “VII,” but it is not the same as the later V-III generation. Always confirm the complete model number before selecting manuals, PCBs, controllers, indoor units or commissioning procedures.

1. Key technical highlights

FeatureTypical V-II Series reference
RefrigerantR410A
System typeHeat pump and heat-recovery VRF configurations, model dependent
Compressor technologyDC inverter scroll compressor control, with multiple-compressor and rotation logic on applicable modules
Outdoor capacityApproximately 22 kW upward, with modular combinations for larger systems
Indoor-unit connectionsUp to 48 indoor units on applicable system combinations
Total piping lengthUp to approximately 1,000 m on applicable system configurations
Height differenceUp to approximately 110 m where the specific design conditions allow
ControlsWired controllers, central controllers, touch panels and BMS interfaces
Approximate eraCirca 2012–2016, varying by market and model
The maximum piping, height and indoor-unit figures depend on the exact outdoor combination and design conditions. Do not apply headline maximums to every system without checking the applicable design and installation manual.

2. Indoor-unit lineup

3. Service and replacement guidance

1Confirm the generation.
V-II components, controls and addressing procedures must not be assumed interchangeable with V Series, V-III, VR-II, VR-III or J Series equipment.
2Use the complete model number.
Suffixes such as GALH, GBLH, GATH, GBTH and GACH identify different product arrangements and must be matched exactly.
3Verify spare-parts availability.
Production has ceased and availability varies by part. Confirm stock and supersession before committing to repair.
4Readdress replacement PCBs.
When replacing indoor or outdoor control boards, transfer DIP-switch settings and complete the applicable addressing and capacity-check process.
5Plan replacement carefully.
Existing R410A pipework and controls require engineering assessment before reuse with a newer VRF platform.
Escalation information: Provide outdoor and indoor model numbers, serial numbers, controller type, refrigerant-system address, indoor-unit address, fault history, LED display, PCB part numbers and details of any recent component replacement.
Do not mix generations: A physical or electrical connector appearing similar does not establish compatibility. Use the V-II design, installation and service documentation for all selections and repairs.
This article is a practical overview based on the supplied V-II Series indoor-unit lineup. It does not replace the applicable design, installation, service or commissioning manuals. Maximum system values vary by outdoor model, combination and design conditions.
