FGLair – iOS 11 Router Registration Issue

Quick Answer
If FGLair on iOS 11 cannot complete router registration using Manual Mode, use Button Mode instead. If registration still fails, reset the Wi-Fi adapter and retry Button Mode.

1. Important Information for iOS 11 Users

Customers using the FGLair application on iOS 11 may experience problems completing router registration when using Manual Mode.

2. Common Issues

Case 1 – SSID Not Visible

The Wi-Fi adapter SSID, for example FUJITSU-G-0000, does not appear in the device Wi-Fi settings after router registration is completed.

Case 2 – Connection Error

An error appears when selecting the SSID after registration:

“Could not connect to WiFi, check your password and try again.”

3. Complete Registration Using Button Mode

  1. Restart the FGLair app.
  2. Tap the + icon to add your air conditioner.
  3. Select Button Mode.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions and tap Register.
  5. Registration is complete once the air conditioner appears in the app.

4. If Registration Still Fails – Reset the Wi-Fi Adapter

  1. Press and hold the Setting button on the Wi-Fi adapter for 10 seconds or longer.
  2. All LED indicators will flash three times at approximately 0.5-second intervals.
  3. LED 1 will then flash with an ON/OFF pattern of approximately 2 seconds / 0.5 seconds.
  4. After approximately 60 seconds, the LEDs should return to the normal status pattern:
    • LED 1: ON
    • LED 2: ON/OFF approximately 2 seconds / 2 seconds
  5. Retry registration using Button Mode.
